Sometimes when you're moving your nervous and feeble 85 year old wheelchair bound mother from a nursing home in Iowa to one near you in Mississippi, in the dead of winter, despite all your vehicle concerns and the preparation they induced, things will go wrong, and you will feel an overwhelming sense of dread. If this happens to you, I'd suggest it happen somewhere on Hwy 218 near Brad Holtkamp Automotive. I found that if you drive directly there, despite the fact that everyone desires their service and they stay busy--they are great human beings. They know when it's important to bend the money rules a notch to help a perfect stranger in a perceived tough spot. The shop is spotless, organized, and efficient like a German farmer's home place. The people are magic, skilled, current on the technology and have my gratitude. Also, someone there bakes fantastic cookies and as if the excellent, reasonably priced service wasn't enough--delicious cookies. Highly recommend. Their website backs me up: bradholtkampautomotivein…
